We’re trying to make it discreet but you can never really hide the truth. My son is a budding chef in one of the best hotels in the Middle East and he works where I am currently assigned.

I was done with my dinner made & served by my son in the restaurant where he works when Chef Mounsef walked in. 

“Why didn’t you tell me your mother was here? Sit with your Mama!” He said.

It was humid outside & so I motioned that we go in. Sat, and carried on a conversation - short, sweet & no hoolabaloo.

I asked where he got his CV. Yes, he got his CV from the online Ecareer & he said that he believed he has found a very good Demi Chef. Chris he said was on fire during the interview and so he got the job. 

He spoke about his education & his being “polite.” And then said that should he be disciplined & corrected and hurt- do it in private & come back to work & be professional.

I told 20 year old  Chris, “He banks on you and so  do not let him down. Your greatest ally is your boss. The more challenges, the better. You cannot outwit those who are well experienced in the trade!”
